Michael Eisler: eislers in romania..deva and baitza

im searching for any relatives with the name of Eisler from Romania, particularly the area around Deva and Baitza in Translvania.My fathers name was Albert, he had 11 brothers and sisters, his mothers nmae was Maria Licker. I have some records going back to the mid 1700's

Zlatica..thank you for the reply..actually ive been to Romania a number of times and found remmnants of my family, most though have romanian names as the were the offspring of my fathers sisters ..the sisters are all deceased, the only other relative I found was in BAITZA..hes eighty years old now and has the name Eisler, from what I could find out My grandfather was a miner and had a series of mines in that area..ive vivited the area. I have records showing the names of Eislers back to the 1700's..but no history etc.
Could you tell me more about yourself..okay ill sign off now...Michael

Nothing much to tell about me. Not Romanian, German or Hungarian. Try to help out with few websites.

317 EISLERs passed thru Ellis Island to America. No descendant out of these many Eislers has any notes to compare?

Some EISLERs list in Hungary, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria. Just a few country's phone book that I checked.
Did you post on German board, Jewish board if applicable? Did you make an EISLER Family board?

There is a well known figure skating pair world champion named Lloyd Eisler in Canada. His partner was and still is Isabelle Brasseur. I think he is from Ontario. Look up phone directory in Seaforth, Ontario,Canada.
