	VivianeCK: STRICKER My grandfather's name was Jakab Stricker. He was born in Beled, Hungary on or about 1880. His parents were Marton Stricker and Johanna Apfel. He married his cousin Flora Stricker. They settled in Sopron, where my grandfather practiced taxation law. Looking to hear from Jewish Strickers or Apfels - name does not have to have exact spelling.... 	kanadai333: Re: STRICKER Dr. Stricker Mor could be a relative. My family is from the part of Hungary called Sopron Megye or Gyor-Moson-Sopron. My great-great grandfather was Stricker, Marton. His wife was Apfel, Johanna. They had 4 children: Jakab, Riza, Jeno and Elsa. Jakab was born in Beled in 1881. He married his first cousin Flora Stricker around 1910/11/12. Other members of the family were called POLITZER and came from Papa or Gyor....
