The 1900 census lists it as Galgóczi-puszta with 4 residents. Earlier censuses didn't mentioned it.
Jurisdictionwise belonged to Pozsony-Püspöki.
Although in Hung. "puszta" means barren land or praire, but also as a small rural settlement, and as such it's a more accurate description then "major", which is more like a bigger farm, residents around 100.
The name most likely from one of the Galgoczi/y families, in the same name topic(s) here somebody perhaps knows more about it.
