| paulvis: Hock / Weigand / Kalaznó | I am researching my father's family and know that my grandfather John Hock came from the village of Kalaznó in Hungary. He was Married to Margaret Wickert (Weigand was her first husband) 1917 /- and they had a son John (my father) in 1920. I do have a Janos Hock listed as killed in the first world war he shows up on the war memorial in Kalaznó.
I am also researching the Weigand family from the Kalaznó area as that was her first husband. I believe he was killed in the first world war and I do have a Janos Weigand that shows up on the war memorial in Kalaznó. My grandmothers name was Margaret (maiden name Wickert) they had two children John and Margaret.
