My gr-grandfather was Franz Pospischil, married Magdalena Pless from Milititsch. I need to find where he was born and who his parents were? Yes, the above sites is where I found the list of inhabitants of Kunbaja, with the name Pospischil listed. I was hoping that someone may have the familybook and would be able to do a lookup for me. It is easy to navigate and peruse. I presume the spelling of the Pospischil/Poszpichil etc is only a variation by culture and country. I wish I could see a connection. I have been told that the name is Czech, therefore somewhere in time my ancestors came from there. I received an answer re Kunbaja-Pospischil. The time period is too late, into the 20th/21st century. I will ask, that your friend look for the Pospischil name in her towns in Bacs.
