We now know that my parents were part of a dance troupe called the Mezey Revue. They danced in the Seaview Hotel Singapore in April 1934. Presumably they moved onto India as I was born in Calcutta in June 1934.
We also know that my mother (Magda Miskey)was ill in a hospital in Cairo at the end of 1936.
The troupe then danced in Khartoom in 1937 and we know from my mother's letters that they had also visited Baghdad, Teheran and Haifa in 1938.
There is no further information after this dat.
My baptism certificate shows my parents residence as Sashalom, Hungary. I have been there twice but have not found any trace.
Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.
