Barbara H. Dollar: Re: looking for lost relatives
Wow! Can I actually have a relative on this side of the family? Did your Grandfather marry a woman by the name of Ann or Anna? Did they have a couple of daughters (one named Lotti? I think...) and a son, Carl?
Please let me hear from you!
Thank you,
Barbara

Barbara H. Dollar: Re: looking for lost relatives
I just talked to my mother...there were 3 daughters, and Lotte was spelled with an 'e' on the end, not an 'i' as I originally typed in. My great-grandfather, was a master architect in Berlin in the early 1900's. Perhaps this will shed a little more light on the matter!
I hope to hear from you soon.

barbhamel: Re: looking for lost relatives
I have replied to this message before, but now with more information. Perhaps this is the same Moritz Hirschler? This is what I know so far:
Moritz Hirschler was born on the 15th of July in 1864 in Hungary. He was a Master Architect of Interior Design and worked in Berlin, Germany from 1908 through 1929...likely before and after those dates, but I have only found information on those years. He was married to Ann (Anna?)Schoneberg and had 3 daughters, one by the name of Lotte, and one son, Carl Heinrich Hirschler (my grandfather). There may have been more children, but this is all my mother remembers. Much of this information, such as my great-grandmother's name, is from my grandfather's visa to America in 1929. Carl was born Dec.17, 1900 in Berlin (according to his Visa), so I assume that Moritz and Ann were living there at the time. My mother was told that all but Carl (her father) perished in concentration camps during the Holocaust, but we have found no documentation of this as of yet.

tony lipsey: Re: looking for lost relatives
Hi Barbara

I am Tony Lipsey, Alan's older brother, and one of 3 Lipsey boys. My mother is Marion Lipsey, the daughter of Lotte Hirschler, your great aunt which makes us cousins I believe.
I live in Toronto but was born like Alan in Glasgow. My wife is Canadian and we have 4 kids, two boys and two girls. 3 live here and one is studying in New Jersey. We'd love to connect with you .....I'm presuming you are somewhere in the States. My father is 92 and my mother is 77, both in reasonably good health. Apparently, Moritz's wife's name was Wilma (Vilma?) and Schoneberg was a district in Berlin. You can e-mail me at tony.lipsey -k-u-k-a-c- sheridanc.on.ca -p-o-n-t- Look forward to hearing from you. Best regards.

Hi Alan!
It's so good to hear from you and find that we are talking about the same Moritz Hirschler! :) Like you, I have a new email address, but I have emailed Tony and asked him to forward my letter to you. I also tried replying to this message and uploading a picture, but it didn't work, so when I get your actual email address, I will send it to you.
I hope to be in contact with you soon.
Your cousin, :)

Hello Tony!
I hope I got your email address correct...I wasn't sure if the 'dot' at the end was part of your email address, or a period at the end of the sentance! :/ Thank you for contacting me with so much information! I hope to hear from you again soon, so I may plague you :) with questions and send you the only 2 pictures we have of our great-grandfather!Neither you nor Alan have registered for the free service that Radix Forum offers, so I could not email either of you from this sight...to see what I mean, click the place that reads "profile" next to my message, and then next to yours.
Thank you again and I hope to hear from you soon!
Your cousin, :)

BarbHamel: Re: looking for lost relatives
Hi Jonny!
Yes, you have the right Alan (my newfound cousin!), but he is not actually registered on this site. I can see that you are not either so posting a message is the only way you can contact each other without posting your email address or registering you're address. If you will go back to this site, click 'profile' by my message, you will be able to send me a private email, which I will then forward to Alan, and email you his email address. He is looking very forward to hearing from you!

A famous doctor's name was Hirshler Imre. On the Google searching program can to help you to find. He wrote some books too.
Sorry for my english, this is not so good.:)) But maybe better, than your hungarian is? I hope, you can undestand it and you will find some Hirshler in Hungary.

Hi Sabehia!
I'm Alan's cousin, Barbara! If you will look to the right of this message, you will see where it
reads 'reply', 'abuse', 'profile'..just click on 'profile' by my message. Then you will see (in blue font) 'send private message'..at least I think that's what it said! Click that to email me and I will forward your email and email address to Alan, and his to you! He is not registered here, so won't get your direct emails.
Let me know if you have any problems with this!

Usareeguaskef: How to find bargains at Amazons Secret Web Pages
I’ve got an Amazon gift certificate burning holes in my pocket,
and I want to get the most bang for my buck.

Enter the Secret Amazon Web Pages:

http://tinyurl.com/38sojf

This is where you’re going to find the "latest sales, rebates, and limited-time offers" from
Amazon, and you can score some pretty deep discounts if you’re a savvy shopper.

Next, there’s the special Sale link. This is open every Friday, and ONLY on Fridays.

You can find the same good discounts here as you would in hidden Deals, although some
Fridays you can really get lucky and make off like an Amazon bandit - I’ve seen discounts
there as low as 75% off sticker price.
