Johannes: OSIKOV-Stefancin/Lyinincz
Looking for information and /or relatives of STEFANCIN, Andreas and LYININCZ, Anna from OSIKOV. Also their daughters:
STEFANCIN, Helena (who married Joannes Grega from SEDLICE on 27 March 1862)
and
STEFANCIN, Elizabetha (born 12 September 1839) who married Joannes Grega, after Helena died.

D'akujem/D'akuju-ti

I have no information on your request. I thought I would let you know that I am researching Stefancin's in Pennsylvania & Ohio.

My primary ancestors for further research are Charles Stefancin and Anna Skotko, Both immigrants from Czechoslovakia. Married in Cuyahoga county, Ohio in 1910 and lived there all their lives.

Contact me if you see any common connections

No connection. Do not know where else you have posted so please keep that in mind if you already have the mentioned website.
I am sure you know that in 1993 Czechoslovakia separated into Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. By your surnames I would say your research is in Slovak Republic.
The SK's phone book is listing S^TEFANC^IN and S^KOTKO.

Do you have a name of a village for your ancestors?
10 SKOTKOs came thru Ellis Island from a village named Beharocz which is now Beharovce. Some phone listings still in Beharovce.
22 STEFANCSINs came thru EI also from a village Osziko/Ossiko (among others). STEFANCIN still lists in Osikov's phone book.
A Michael STEFANCSIN departed from port of Hamburg.

As Osikov is so small I am sure that all the STEFANCINs are related. Would be interesting to hear from them.

Stefancin: Re: OSIKOV-Stefancin/Lyinincz
Hi my name is Cheryl, my husband is a Stefancin, his first name is John, he is a Jr. He does not associate with his father, and hasn't most of his life. He does not know too much about that side of the family. I do think that his grandfather's name was Joseph. I'm not sure of his grandmothers name. My husband also has a brother named Micheal, but he is deceased now. He also has a half sister named Johnette. Hope this helps.
