My grandfather's sister, Maria Kiss, listed this as her town of origin when she came to America in 1908. She was traveling with my grandmother, my Dad and my Uncle Johnnie. I have not been able to find out any information about her or my grandfather, her brother, John (János) Kiss. Would appreciate hearing from anyone related.

I did not locate a Maria KISS or anyone coming thru Ellis Island from a town named Pustinis.
A good locator of a town whose spelling is from the old regime or misspelled is locating a town of Pustinis in Romania.
