Susan, I am doing research on the Rostar Family that came from Slovakia in 1890. George Rostar and Anna Sobel settled in Emmett County, MI, then returned to the old country. Their son, George escaped during the war but was born in U.S. so he had no problem returning. He is my father. Have the family tree from my dad down, but cousins in Yonkers New York are missing. Who are you related to? I have a large family in Muskegon, MI.

Where was John ROSTAR born? You need to locate a precise place of birth. Take a look in Ellis Island website www.ellisislandrecors.org There are ROSTARs, ROSTAROVA (female), and ROSZTARs.
