	R Helfer: Peter SCHNUR family, 1869 I am looking for any information on the family of Peter SCHNUR and Rosalia KOLLET of Nagyszentmiklós. Peter was born in 1845, a son of Franz SCHNUR and Catharina WOLZ; Rosalia was born in 1850, a daughter of Peter KOLLET and Apollonia STECHER. They were married in 1869. 	R Helfer: Re: Peter SCHNUR family, 1869 Istvan -- I apologize for taking so long to reply, and writing in English. Unfortunately I have no information about any connection between Schnurs in Nagyszentmiklós and Schnurs in Kolozsvár. I find Schnurs arriving in Nagyszentmiklós around 1750 or a bit later from the Rhineland. I have not seen any record of any of them moving further east, but there's no reason to believe that none did. Does the marriage record you have say anything about Rosalia's birth date or parents? I have records for two Rosinas (or Rosalias) baptised in Nagyszentmiklós in the early 1800s. One was a daughter of Joannes Schnur and Elisabetha, baptised 25 June 1805; and the other was a daughter of Michael Schnur and Anna Maria, baptised 20 January 1811. Frank Kollet immigrated with my grandfather Thomas Zenser in 1906...Frank Kollet married Thomas' sister Elizabeth...I have several pictures and history of Frank and Elizabeth Kollet...I am also familiar with the name Wolz...
