Anybody doing research here? Perhaps you will find interesting this detail from the old 1:200,000 military map showing Sárkány - Scharken - Schirkanyen - Sercaia. The last update of the map was done in 1914.

I am doing research on Sárkány (Schirkanyen/Cercaia). Names: Fischer, Liehn, Gross, Kloos, Goldschmidt, Roth,Miklos,... and a lot more. Anybody there with anything from Sárkany? I'd be delighted.

Hi.(Excuse my bad English.) I come from Sercaia. I leave now in Cologne. Liehn, Roth and Miklos was my neighbors. They all are leaving in Germany. I think that Mrs. Miklos is dead, but i`m not sure. Do you speak german or romanian? So i can help you better. Zenno Tita

sunt Emil am fost vecini pe strada Principala in Sercaia am intrat pe net sa vad ce se scrie despree Sercaia si am gasit forumul asta in care apare si numele tau .Eu sunt in Italia de vreo 2 ani si voiam sa vad ce mai e pe acasa .Ma gandeam cat de mult s-a degradat Sercaia de cand au inceput sa plece sasii.Din pacate am prins numai ultima perioada prezentei lor ,pe urma au venit...tiganii...si am spus tot.Te salut.
