Looking for info on Ancestors:
Grandfather: Miklos (michal) Roatsey, Born 1885
Grandmother: Barbala Molnar Roatsey, Born 1891
Unsure of spelling of last name in Hungary
Our records show birthplace for both is Szendrolaid, Hungary. What is current name of this town? Think they both came to America thru Ellis Island, but unable to locate on web site.

Any info greatly appreciated.

sorry, but my English is not very good...
Szendrőlád (correct spelling in this form) is a small village in the north-east of Hungary. Homepage unfortunately only in Hungarian: http://www.menet.hu/szendrolad/
Some of my ancestors were live in Szendrőlád. My great-grandmother was born at 1896 and lived there until shes dead in 1986. There are lived many persons with the last name Rőczei (further Rőczey). See Hungary's phone site at
www.matav.hu/english/index.html. I think there were the relatives of your grandfather and their family. Because 'ő' was 'oa' or 'oe' in Englisch spelling and 'cz' was 'ts', therefore Rőczey=Roatsey.
