| Val: Re: Zalaujlak | The Csöndör family lived in Tornyiszentmiklós, Zala megye and emmigrated to Edmonton, Canada. Mr.Csöndör's daughters and grandchildren live in Edmonton today.
Mr. Csöndör was a policechief in Tornyiszentmiklós during the second World war and left Hungary in 1956.
If you contact the Bishop of western Hungary, István Konkoly in Szombathely, Hungary, he can give you much more information on the Csöndör family. He even visited them in Edmonton two or three years ago. He has grown up with the Csöndör girls and are very good friends. I don't know their married names, that is why i refer you to Bishop Konkoly. I met Mr. Csöndör myself many years ago.I don't know if he is still alive or not.My father has grown up in Tornyiszentmiklós himself and recognized Mr. Csöndör when he visited us in Edmonton.Bishop Konkoly is my father's cousin and he told me himself about the Csöndör family and their great friendship.
Good luck! This is a family from Zala megye for sure.
