I see where my grandfather and great grandfather have come from Romania (with your help) but his brother came from Amacz. Is this city also in Romania? I can't seem to find where it is located.

Amacz is Magyar / Hungarian name for the town of Amati which is in Romanian and is South of town of Szatmar-Nemeti.
