Betty: Bayttan
Searching for Misali and Bodnar family from Bayttan. My grandparents returned to Hungary and Ellis Island Records list Ciscer Slovikia as the hometown.

Andrea: Re: Bayttan

Betty,
Cicser(H)/Cicarovce(S) and Battyán(H)/Botany are fairly close to each other in SE Slovakia today. On this interactive map of Hungary you can see both places in bilingual. Choose "Záhony", the bigger border town in Hungary from the alphabetical list, than look for Botany/Battyán and Cicarovce/Csicser in NW-ly direction across the border.
