Tiszakálmánfalváról találtam cikket,melyben írja,hogy az
1900-as évek elején a Rapcsó család Amerikába emigrált.
Errõl szeretnék többet megtudni,ill. Rapcsókkel a kapcsolatot felvenni.

Kedves Rapcsó ur,

Találtam információt Rapcsó névröl akik 1912 május 9 én érkeztek New Yorkba Újvidékröl.
Rapcsó Victória 26 éves és kettõ leánya, Rozália 3 éves és Victória 2 éves.
Victória férje Rapcsó Imre már elõbb kivándorolt Amerikába.
Õróla nem találtam, hogy mikor érkezett oda.

www.ellisisland.org található meg.12 Rapcsó vezeték név van feljegyezve, hárman közülük Újvidéki.
Fiumebol utaztak Ivernia neveztû hajón.Rapcsó Viktória és kettõ gyermeke.

Kedves segítõ fórumtársak,

köszönöm a segítséget,az az igazság,hogy ezeket az adatokat már én is megtaláltam,csak sajnos innen mintha felszívódtak volna a nagy Amerikában,lehet hogy ez nehezen kiejthetõ volt és " angolosítottak"?Hasonló neveként feltûnik a Rapso,Rapco,Raposo...de ezeket így már nehéz kideríteni
(fõleg gyenge angoltudásommal).Egyedül Lucyanne V. Rapcsot hoz fel a Zaba search,de azonkívûl,hogy Honoluluban lakik
még mást nem sikerült megtudnom róla,ha esetleg vki jó angolos elnézne ide,és többet megtudna azt köszöném szépen.

Please help!!I am trying to find additional relatives and some data on those I already know about. My grandparents Jozsef Magyar (born 12 Oct 1878) and Anna Toth (born 25 Aug 1885 were married in Budisava (Tiszakalmanfalva)on 24 Oct 1901.. He was the son of Jozsef Magyar and Victoria Bartok She was the daughter of Ferenc Toth, wife unknown. I know the Toth's had one other daughter, name unknown. They came to the US in the early 1900's. If you know anything about any of these individuals please cotact me. Thank you.

Yes I have checked the church records from the area and also those in Teremin. Neither my father nor uncle could remember maternal grandmother's name nor the name of the aunt they had...my dad was about 7 when they came to this country.
