| Mark: Family Ties | I believe my grandfather John (Janos) Kiss may have come from this town. He emigrated to America in 1904 with his wife, Anna Mihalovits. The Mihalovits are all from Otelek, now in Romania, although I know there is a Mihalovits family member buried in a cemetary in Pitvaros. My grandfather also had a sister, Maria Kiss, who came to America in 1908 and left a sister, Julia (Kiss) Szabo, in Oregfalu, now Pustinis, Romania.
Any Kisses in the area have relatives who emigrated to America? We could be related!
