Anyone out there familiar with Devecser?
I'm interested in the Catholic Church located there and some history about the town in English. I went to Devecser website but only in Hungarian. I cannot read or write Hungarian.

Patti: Erzebet Kormendy Reder
Looking for family of my Great Grandmother Erzebet Kormendy who married Gyula Reder in Devecser Catholic Church. She was born I think in Vásárhely, Hungary. Married Gyula Bet. 1876 - 1878. Had three children the last my Grandmother Erzebet born March 12, 1882. I know its a long shot but does the photo look familiar to anyone?

Gypsy217: Re: Devecser
My great-grandmother, Irene Szel was born there and left for United States in 1904 to the Philadelphia PA area (Phoenixville). Her father's name was Imre and mother was Karolin Szel. Karolin's maiden name was Bobovich (spelling?)
