| kezdi: Re: Ebergoc Marriage Record HORVATH | Well, after a sleep I was thinking of the words in the last row. Normally that row is for the names of the preparers and for notes.
There is one word Capellar I recognize, which means cardinal's hat, the traveling parish priest serving in the name of the cardinal.
The second word, which looks like begins with the same letter as your ancestor, could be Parochus, also means parish priest.
Both words make sense, since Ebergoc didn't had it's own church, probably only a chapel, and traveling parish priest came to serve.
Back to the name of your ancestor, could begins with the fancy P like Parochus, not like the common P names on the page, and goes like Páris. |
