On the early 1900s Torontal County map look for the District names written across, Ecska is just SE from Nagybecskerek:
Place County (1913) District (1913) Current country
Écska Torontál Nagybecskereki Yugoslavia

There's a village in Serbia (former Yugoslavia)...south of Zrenjanin, called Ecka.
