I am interested in the ancestry of Janos Krajnak who traveled from Hungary on the ship Kaiser Wilhelm Der Grosse from Bremen and arrived in Ellis Island, New York on Dec 23, 1908. His last place of residence in Europe was Vegptri, Hungary. His sister, susanna, married Josef Pavelko in Humenne.He was married to Susan Sedlak.

Janos KRAJNAK was born in Vegpetri and his last place of residence was Vegpetri, Ung megye. Left a mother Zuszana Krajnak. This is from the EI manifest. The old megye map http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 except that the village of Vegpetri is in Saros megye, now Petrova, Slovak Republic. http://mapy.atlas.sk
The town of Humenne also in Slovak Republic.
