Egy fennmaradt 1930 körüli irat szerint mikor Andorkó Füzi Péter ükapám egyik unokája kiment Amerikába, akkor egy székelyzsombori Andorkó (talán ő is Füzi?) 	Gail: Re: Szekelyzsombor Gyula, Thank you for your response. I have been trying to find people in Szekelyzsombor who would be my cousins but it has been very difficult since I only speak English. In 2005 I went to Szezelyzsombor and the minister Kunos Lajos helped me meet two people there. One was Fuzi Istvan born in 1929 (in the photo with the hat on). I am sure he was a relative because he looks like he could be my fathers brother. I also met Rigo Klara born 1948 (right side of the photo) who may be part of my Antal family. My great grandparents were Fuzi Andras and Antal Anna. My grandmother was Fuzi Ilona born 1894. She had two brothers that I know of. I don't know how to get in touch with Istvan or Klara. A leveledben említett Andorkó Mózes valóban Vargyasról származott, és több gyermeke is volt: Ilona, Irma, János és Mózes (de lehet, hogy még volt gyereke, azonban én ezekről nem tudok).A közvetlen leszármazottak közül már senki sem él, Mózes az elmúlt évben húnyt el. Ilonának két gyermeke van:Boda Jánosné Molnár Magda (Brassóban él, de huzamosabb időt töltenek Székelyzsomboron is) és Molnár János (Magyarországon él).Irmának leányai, Hajnalka és Ibi (Családnevüket most nem tudom, talán majd később)ott élnek a faluban. Jánosnak három gyereke van, két lány és egy fiú, a lányok Segesváron laknak, a fiú pedig Székelyudvarhelyen él. Mózesnek a lánya, Elekes Béláné, Andorkó Magda Zsékelyzsomboron él. Az érdekes az, hogy a Mózes felesége is Fűzi leány volt, zsombori Fűzi, a Cseke Fűzi ágból, de ennek természetesen semmi köze a vargyasiakat megkülönböztető Fűzi ragadványnévhez. I do not speak Hungarian. Do your speak English? Does your Grandfather Fuzi Istvan know that you have found his picture that I took of him in April 2005 on this genealogy forum? Since the day I met him I have been wanting to meet him again. We must be related because he looks so much like my father. See attached photo. On the left my father born 1926. (Photo from 15 years ago.) On the right your grandfather born 1929. Kocs Janos in Sfantu Gheorghe has sent me the church registers from Szekelyszombor. I have been going over them all summer. This is what I have found so far: Fuzi Istvan born October 26, 1929 His Father; Fuzi Mihaly born November 9, 1894 His Mother; Fuzi Anna born June 5, 1903 His fathers parents; Fuzi Andras born July 1, 1848 and Fuzi Kata born October 13, 1851. Married 1870. 11 children born 1870 to 1894 (See oldal 013) His mothers parents; Fuzi Mihaly born 1874 and Tobb Sara born 1883. I met in Brasov an old school collegue (Karoly Fulop) who is deep in Szekelyzsombor/Jimbor history research and he had the earlier Parish registers 1765-1825, also the school register for the years 1871-1897. I have copied them too, but still have to work on them to put on CD. Just a mention for now: the surname of Mihaly Fuzi's wife is JOBB, meaning Better. The school register from 1871-1897 sounds interesting. My grandmother Fuzi Ilona was born in 1894 so probably not on them. But maybe her brothers Andras born September 23, 1880 and Janos born about 1892. Recently I found Andras (above born 1880) marriage to Lunban Anna in 1906 in Chicago Illinois. I am having a hard time finding the children of Fuzi Andras (b. 1828) and Polgar Borbala (b. 1828) the records records from 1845-1855 are very hard to read.
