Could you please tell me if Koronco is in Gyor Or Moson County? I have seen it documented both ways.
Koronco is situated a few miles southwest of Gyor, county Moson. The village is about 1,000 years old and has about 2,000 inhabitants in current times. Koronco was a site of a battle lost by the Hungarians in the Kurucz war for independence in the early 18th century.
My Galgoczi family is from Koronco (1880s). Thank you. Nadine
