| Lisa: Legrad family history | I am interested in corresponding with anyone who has an interest in Legrad. I have family that emigrated from there to the U.S. in the early 20th century, leaving many relatives behind also.
I have included below a photo of the Catholic church in the area which my family attended. I understand that it was severely bombed during a war, probably World War II.
I am working on tracing my family's history and also learning more about the history and culture of the area. I am particularly interested in the UJLAKI, BENCZE and BEDENICES families of Legrad and the surrounding area.
I recently found a website (in German) that appears to be an article about the history of the area from about the 1700's. It includes several mentions of Legrad.
