Lisa: Legrad family history
I am interested in corresponding with anyone who has an interest in Legrad. I have family that emigrated from there to the U.S. in the early 20th century, leaving many relatives behind also.

I have included below a photo of the Catholic church in the area which my family attended. I understand that it was severely bombed during a war, probably World War II.

I am working on tracing my family's history and also learning more about the history and culture of the area. I am particularly interested in the UJLAKI, BENCZE and BEDENICES families of Legrad and the surrounding area.

I recently found a website (in German) that appears to be an article about the history of the area from about the 1700's. It includes several mentions of Legrad. Please contact me if you would like more information about this article or would like to correspond about Legrad in general or my family surnames.
