The Hungarian phone site is at :

The town of Lovrin is in the old Torontal megye which is now in Romania.

Hello,
My great-grandmother's name was Anna Liskai. The marriage with my great-grandfather (Pál Némethy) took place at Nagy-Mácséd (now Velka Maca, Slovakia), in 1864.
Does somebody know any more specific details....?

The SK's phone site is at :
www.zoznamst.sk
A surname NEMETH lists in Velka Maca's phone book.
The name LIS'KA lists in Sala, Sintava, Sered, Eliasovce, Galanta and Gabcikovo.(same area code as Velka Maca)
The old 1910 Hungarian megye map is at :
http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 click on Pozsony megye / Bratislava

You might want to hire a genealogist to do the research in the archive, you send a request to the archive as this regions church records are not yet in the Family History Center ( LDS- Mormons).
