John was born/bored/ Hungary or perhaps today In Slovakia
in 1900.Géres or KisGéres
He went in U.S.A. in 1927-1930
He first wife name is Karosi Mária
He have 2 child one of my grandmother Illés Mária.
My grandfather live in New York Boston In 1927-32/perhaps/

Researching Ferencz, Illesova; My grandmother, Barbara Ferencz, lived in/near Maly Hores; Married twice in Hungary, maybe Kovacs/Kovath was one of her married names; had 2 sons (Andrew and ???); came to America around 1914 or 1915 and around same time married (in America) Peter Lupes (also Hungarian); had five children: Mary, Peter, Stephen, Helen, Teresa.

Zlatica - Thank you for the information. I wish I had learned to speak Hungarian from my mom. You gave me a lot of information :-) I was pronouncing my grandmother's birthplace differently, so that's why I couldn't find it. I will certainly use those url's to continue my research. It is possible that the ILLES^OVA and FERENCOVA are your distant relatives.
You might want to post on Ancestry and Genforum. Never to late to learn Hungarian or some of the words.
