Trying to trace family tree. The family were from Perkata and emigrated to Canada. Can anybody help me please?

Sorry, my English is poor, very poor.
My mother was borned in Perkata too.
We're living in Hungary in another city. But my relatives are living in Perkata now.
My mother knew three Siba brothers. One of these and his family I know too.

Can anyone tell me a little more about this village? I want to know the best way to perhaps get in touch with relatives there. I was able to find a website that listed a postmaster and a mayor. Since the population is so small would it be a good idea to try and get a letter to them to pass along.
