| Carol Cincotta: SCHAGH/SCHAG/SCHAAG | SCHAGH is my grandfather -- Michael Schagh. His was born in Zichydorf and died in St Paul, MN, USA 1882-1922
He married Margaret Lutz in Zichydorf and they had two children born there before they went to No America. Children were Eva and Mathias.
Michael had a sister, Theresa who mar a Josef Schwartz and a brother, Nicholas who mar Annamarie. I know Nicholas was killed in WWI but I've lost his family. Michael also had a half brother, Mathias Niedermayer who mar Gertrude.
Michael's parents were Marianna Konig and Nicholas Schagh/Schaag/Schag. I am not sure which spelling is correct any more but SCHAGH is what he used in the United States.
Does anyone have any knowledge of these families? I'm sorry that I have no expertise in any language but English but I believe I have access to a translator if that will help. |
