There was a town named Remetemezo in Szatmar megye, Hungary which now is in Romania.
The old 1910 map is at :

Using One Step/Gray form www.jewishgen.org/databases/EIDB/ellis.html to locate an EI manifest, there were 34 people from Remetemezo and 1 from Remete Mezo.
