Uj-varos or Ujvaros is Slanske Nove Mesto, SK
and Nove Zamky had a name (one of many) as Ujvar.

Nove Zamky/ Ujvar or Erseg-Ujvar, Neu-Hausel would be in Nyitra megye of the old map.

Slanske Nove Mesto would fall into Abauj megye.

I feel I am getting close to finding my ancestors who immigrated in 1861 fro Ujivaros. The names were Elsie Zegland and James Simon Simko. I now find we are arusyns as they were Greek Orthodox in Relig Many thanks for the help you have provided.ion.
