I have the Slovenska Ves church records on indefinate loan at my local FHC. I would be happy to do lookups for anyone researching the towns of Slovenska Ves (old Totfalu), Vojnany (old Krig (h)), Landek (aka Landi) Vyborna, and Slovinky.

I usually get there twice a month, and will let you know my planned date of research. Please email me with your surnames and some sort of dates that I should check.

The spelling of the surname is not correct. Also, it is in female OVA ending and thus the church records would not have that.

Hello, I'm trying to locate church records for my grandparents who were from Slovenska Ves Spiska. Andrew Zastko and Maria(Strisovska or Strisofska) were married and emmigrated from there in 1921. They had a 9 month son Alois(born about Febuary 1921), who died within a year of emmigrating with his mother in November 1921.

Hi. I will be glad to check the film at my FHC. Do you have any idea about their birth years? Was Alois the first child or a later child?

I can still look if you don't know, but it would help me narrow it down a bit.

I'm Didier Zastko and I live in France;
My Grandfather François Zastko emmigrated in France in 1927, he was from Slovenka Ves,borned in 1904, and He had 11 brothers and sisters; Many of his brothers and Sisters Zastko emmigrated in USA;
Have you many informations about Zastko please ??
