Zlatica : Re: any family information
You're welcome.
For ancestral information you might want to go thru Snina's church records that are in LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) site:
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=localityhitlist&columns=*,0,0&PLACE=snina&PARTOF=&prePLACE=snina&prePARTOF=
Mihalyne (ne means Mrs. in Hungarian) is used correctly
ZUZC^AK in SK's phone book but none in Snina:
http://www.zoznam.sk/hladaj.fcgi?co=telzoznam&s=zuzcak&mesto=&ulica=&psc=&uto=&net_fixed=1&net_mobile=1&net_alt=1
and then there is also this surname which does show up in eastern Slovakia and in Snina.

dmk: Re: any family information
thanks again. I looked up the information that you gave me and I am going to request the mirofilm. Zuzcak maybe Suzanna's maiden name...translation in the US changed everything. I spelled my name KLIM and the manafest from Ellis Island has them as Klin same as the village..Were the villages named after families? It was told to me that Mihaly family was well to do in their country. Mother died father remarried new wife swindled them out of everything..just a rumor, but may have been a reason to move to the US?!

Zlatica : Re: any family information
You're welcome.

The church records are the way to go to gather ancestral information. They should show you from where the ancestor KLIN came from. I found surname KLIN in Poland.
Family stories are nice to have in a family book but sometimes they are stories without any substance.
GRISAK BOOK
There is an excellent book about the Rusyn US-immigrant experience. It's an autobiography of Joseph Grisak, 1873-1950, born in Slovinky, (today's Slovakia). It goes into great depth describing day-to-day living.
It has been scanned and is available at www.saed.kent.edu/~lucak/topica/Grisak.pdf
It is 352 Kb and 98 pages in length. You will need Acrobat reader.

From the Library of Congress on-line catalog:
Title: The Grisak family
Authors: Grisak, Michael J. , 1910- (Main Author) *
LC Control Number: 79103327
Published/Created: [Merrillville, Ind.] : Grisak, [1978-1979]
