Hello,
The surname that I have know to have is Bujcs but I was wondering if it may be something else. No one in my family seems to know. They said that some of my relatives changed their name to Buich to match the pronunciation, but I seem to have a problem finding anyone anywhere with the same last name as me. If anyone can help please let me know!!!!

There were 2 BUJCSs that did come thru Ellis Island to America from Takaisi/Takacsi, Hungary.

The town of Takacsi is in Veszprem megye, Hungary.

The phone book of Takacsi is listing BUICS.

Taking another look in EI site for BUICS and sure enough 9 of them and some were from Takacsi.
The LDS-Mormons website is listing church records of Takacsi. If this is the ancestral village then go ahead and order the films.
