My grandmother, Elizabeth Sheder, born August 13, 1893, left Tes in 1907 to come to the US. Her parents were Eva Szoke and John Sheder. My grandmother's brother was John Sheder. Looking for any record or relative.

Thanks, Imi. Both Szöke and Seder names are in my family. I knew that they were in Tés on this date. Jozsef Seder married Anna Marie Bernhardt in 1807 & had 3 children: Marton, Anna Marie & therezia. Marton married Erzébet Pap in 1837 (also in Tés) and had János, Anna & Istvan. János is my great grandfather. He came to the US leaving his family in Hungary, but they all followed later. Anna married a Marton Hermann & stayed in Tés. I was never able to find any trace of Istvan Seder, but there doesn't seem to be any Seders left in Tés. Istvan was born on 14 Aug 1850. Anyone have any information on any Hermann or Seder families in or around Tés?
