The SK's phone book is listing HALAS and HALASZ. www.zoznamst.sk type a 0 (zero)in area code to get all the listings for a certain name.
A HALAS listing in Zlate Moravce which is about 5 km North of Tesarske Mlynany. You might consider sending few letters to HALASs that list in the phone book around the town of Tesarske Mlynany. You do know that William and Michael would have been known by a different name in "old country".
