	Myrna: Janos Spisak Searching for family of Janos "John" Spisak 1884-1978 born at Nagy 53 Labos Torna, Megye. I don't know if this is a street address, it appeared this way on a document. Janos married Irenke "Irene" Brunner 11-26-1911 in New Jersey, USA. Janos was raised in an orphange, name unknown. Dr. Leo lives in Bratislava. I am related to Joseph & Maria (Blaschko). Maria is my grandmother's sister. So I do not know if Joseph Spissak and his siblings are related to her Janos. I have no connection to Torna nor do I know where my Spissak's were born in Hungary. I only replied to her post hoping that by chance my Spissak's were related. I am not even tracing that lineage, only my Blaschkov & Follrich lines. I only shared with her what I knew and had from Dr. Leo Spissak who is living in Bratislava today. My Blaschko's come from Szentgyorgy, Pozony 1901 and prior. Janos Blaschkov my great grandfather was a blacksmith working in Szentgyorgy, Pozsony listed in the 1891 Hungarian Industry & Trade Directory. My grandmother Antoinette was born in Szentgyorgy and the family emigrated about 1904, then 1908. Here is my posting: I am completing the Dobozi-Dobozy/Pájer Family history book this year and I am still looking for anyone that would like to contact me for information. I am researching the origin of our name with both endings- Dobozi & Dobozy. My specific family is from the village of Torna, Hungary, now called Turna nad Bodvou, Slovakia. By researching old village Catholic Church records I was able to go back to a Marton Dobozy in the mid 1700s and the earliest Dobozi in Turna is a Dobozi András who was married to a Koso or Kosa Anna in 1736. There was also a Dobozy Mihály in the small village near Torna called Udvarnok in 1722. The village is now called Dvorniky Slovakia.
