I would like to find an information about the family Gergel Marton Kerekes from Zablatie, Trenczen, Slovakia. He was maried with Zuzana Marton from the same willage Zablatie. I have only one information and so they have a son Frantisek / Ferencz / and he was born on march 5. 1887 and lieved in Zablatie.
I would be appreciated for anz information.

The LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) have filmed the church records of SK but nothing for Zablatie. You might search around to see if Zablatie church records are with another village.

thank you for your interest to help me. I have looked at the map and nearly of the town Trenczen is only the willage with name Zablat. I think, this is the willage Zablatie.
Please, try to find it in the records of this willage.

Hi Dusan

That is the village Zablatie that you found which now is suburb or a street in city of Trencin.
The LDS-Mormons have filmed the whole Slovak Republic but the Western region's films are not yet ready for viewing. Nothing much under Trencin. You might want to send a request to the archive, hire a researcher in SK or wait on the films.

Trencin's phone book is listing MARTON and KEREKES' (Slovak spelling).
