	sajruben: The George Gal Family My wifes Fathers family is from Hungary. Her Grandfather on her fathers side is named George Gal who was born in Wagy Zerend, Hungary. His wife was Magdelana Meszaros, born in Kororladany Hungary. They had 6 children; Velma, Jim, Irma, George jr., Andrew (my wifes father), an Madelene. They settled in Canada. I don't know what port they arrived at in North America. My wife ould like to know more about her Father's line. The village is placed in Arad county,Romania, and officialy is called ZERIND. The surname GAL is commonly used in Zerind, these families use onemore surname, or a funny nickname in front of the Gal. 	susan: Gal family Ladislaus Gal married Julia Nemeth about 1815. (Note ABOUT). Son Karoly b. 1816 in Poloske Hungary, married Rosza Pinter. Their son Mihaly b. 1844 married Rozalia Palfi in 1870. They had five children: Peter b. 1880, Charles b. 1882 who immigrated to Canada, my gr. grandfather, Joseph, Karolyna and Anna b. 1891.
