| Introduction | I have recently begun researching my mother's side of the family tree. She was born and raised in Latrobe, Westmoreland Co,. Pa as a daughter of Michael Bravis and Martha Kisiczki. He the son of Alexander Bravis and Mary Rakacky. They were both born in Austria Hungary and died in Latrobe, PA. Alexander was the son of John Bravis of New Lublen (is that Austria Hungary??) and Eva ? who was born in New Lublen. He has a sister M. who married a Vargol. Martha was the daughter of John (Joannes) Kisiczki and Anna Danko (Danyka). He was born in Austria Hungary probably Gadna and d. in Latrobe, Westmoreland Co., PA. He m. Anna Danko in the Bradenville Greek Catholic Church, Westmoreland Co., PA. She was the daughter of Matyas Danko and Ana Pavhik(?). I have recently received vital records and naturalization papers and would love more info on our heritage. Any cousins out there??? |
