| I was hoping to hear from anyone who can give me info on the Komaromi name. My maiden name was spelled Komoromi, but I have traced my roots to a George Komaromi in Hungary. That is where my info stops. His wife's name was Mary Kish. Their son John was born on Feb. 14, 1872 in Hungary. He came to America in 1903. His wife's name was Theresa Vigh. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also was this a common name? Some family members have said our ancestors were gypsies. | ||
