| I copied the information on the Racz family-dates and names I'll look on the ship manifest and see if anyone else from Raba Patona came at the same time as Anna Agnes Racz.
Were the Gaogoczi's in Raba Patona? I know that Racz is not a common name so that should be quite easy. Horvath is a very common name so I will need more in the way of names and approximate dates to get on the right track. I had copied lots of birth records when I began because there were so many Papais. So I will look through them today and see what I see. I will be going Monday and Wednesday to further research so I will keep you updated. If you think of anything to add that may help me post another message between now and Monday. I'm going through all the records with a fine toothed comb now to make sure I haven't missed anyone and to finalize some birth and death dates. A Maria Kertai married a Stephanus Papai in 1880. He was born in 1857-I am looking for her birthdate. Her parents were Istvan Kertai and Terezia Farkas. Also a Maria Kertai married a Josef Papai in 1911. He was born in 1885. I still have to research her. My great grandparents were born 1874 and 1881. At one time there were less than 100 houses in RabaPatona. By 1900 there were probably less than 200. It is interesting because in the later years all the births, deaths and marriages had the House Number listed and that helps you trace the particular family. My great grandparents came to the US in 1909 and 1910. They probably knew the Racz's. Interesting. I will ask some of the older family members if they remember this name. It is an honor to assist.
