The name KINSKY (male), KINSKA (female) still lists in small numbers in Slovak Republic.

33 KINSKYs, 8 KINSKAs, 1 KIMSKY (Kinsky on the manifest) passed thru Ellis Island. Your ancestor did not pass thru EI but still a good idea to look over the manifest.
Jonah might be Johan, Janos in Magyar and Jan in Slovak.
