Louis: Re: Kisiczki from Gadna18/01/2004, 08:32:48
Erzsebet Kisiczki was born in 1907 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was very young when she returned with her family to Gadna. She married there in 1927 and joined her husband in Canada in 1934. She had 2 children who live in Canada. She died in 1995. Her brother Lajos was killed in Hungary at the very end of the war.

Some years ago I asked about the origins of the Kisiczki family (which to be is a Polish name) in Gadna and was told that several generations back an ancestor had migrated there from Poland. Apparently at that time some epidemic had reduced the population in the Gadna region and as a consequence there was a movement of people into the area.
