In the meantime I visited Udais in Palast (Plastovce) in Nowadays southern Slovakia. Their forefather had two mills around 1890 when my grandmothers grandmother Rozalia Udai died giving birth to my grandgrandmother Karolina Ghega in northeastern Bosnia (Bijeljina, or Dragaljevac between Bjeljina and Brcko). The familiy story tells that Rozalia's sister came down to Bosnia to pick-up the new born sister's child. She was very well dressed in silk and came in a carriage. So we could conclude she was wealthy (mill?). My granmother's grandfather Giovanni Ghega Majolli eventually changed his mind the last second, and decided to keep the child. Here is the foto of two female Udais from Plastovce (Palast)in southern Slovakia and me.
