The best thing for you to do is to order the church records of Mandok since it seems that you have located the village of your ancestor.

The LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) website is listing a Roman Catholic, Reformed church and Jewish records of Mandok.
www.bmi.net/jjaso to familiarize yourself with church wording.

The town of MANDOK falls into the Szabolcs megye and is in Hungary, far away from Nyitra megye aka Nitra county of Slovak Republic.
