Andi,

I want to say that the name might be of Slavic roots but I have no idea as what it means or where it originates.
You need to locate the name of a town in order to proceed with the research.

www.village.sk

The Slovak Republic's phone book is listing the surname S'UHAJDA.

84 SUHAJDAs passed thru Ellis Island to America.
