The Vecsey family was always a "proud" one and wasted money left and right...that's why they ended up poor, at least some of them...My father has the family tree which is tracked back to the 1400's and that's when supposedly a man named Balazs was give the title of Count (or something like that)..The family actually ended up having 2 parts, one was the Count (Grof) side and then they also had the Baron (Baro)side...Basically, all Vecsey's are related.
