Hello cousin! I am researching my Hungarian ancestors and your grandfather Istvan was the son of Istvan Tiffinger and Anna Kluiber, and was born 14 Oct 1879 in Aka Hungary. His mother was the sister of my great grandfather Ferenc Kluiber. Istvan and Anna had at least 8 children, but sadly it appears as though your grandfather was the only one to survive. Three were stillborn, and four died at young ages. I never did find out what had happened to Istvan. I'm so glad that at least one of Istvan and Anna's children survived. I have extracted the above information from the Hungarian church records for Aka. They were photographed by the Mormons, and appear on microfilm #0699504. I don't know anything specific about your grandmother, but do recognize the name Hungler. The church records for Acsteszer (also called Acs) should also be available thru the Mormons.
