Zlatica : Re: Searching for Grandfather John (Janos?) Kiss19/04/2004, 17:01:10

My take on our first ancestors : they almost always married within same religion, same region. They had to have a common denominator which was the language. If they married in the "old country" they had to have lived not far from each other. Consider the transportation they had in those old days.

There was a town named Albertfalu, Albertfalva, Alberti and Csanadalberti.

The LDS-Mormons have a church records for Csanadalberti and Albertfalva. Maybe you can order the films and take a look if your KISS surname is there.
